Happy Sunday everyone!!!
This weekend I made it out to the fun and sun of LA for one of my closest friend’s birthday!!! As always, it was a blast seeing her and hanging out with her and her awesome friends and family, but let me share some of our fashion experiences with you…
Friday we went to one of my favorite places to grab a casual bite in LA- Urth Cafe! Everything is so fresh and delicious and if you love pumpkin pie, I highly recommend it!! We even bought one to take back home with us today!
That night we partied at the California Yacht club and had fun dancing in the dark and enjoying a beautiful summer breeze that felt like heaven after the hot summer nights we’ve been experiencing in Vegas….
This long sleeved, lace and sheer sweater top was the perfect piece to give me airiness during the day and keep me warm at night. This fun maroon flower headpiece from Forever 21 brought romanticism and a boho feel to the retro colorful Valentino shorts. And this long sleeve Ikat print dress that my friend wore was a great punch of color that looked great against her skin tone.
We started off Saturday with a makeup class/application at MAC and not only got beautiful looks but learned a lot as well. 
I love the purples and blues and am looking forward to playing more with dramatic eye looks, so stay tuned for that!!
Saturday afternoon was amazing on a day cruise by LA Sailing Charter on Medium Pimpin with Captain Joe! It was a blast and we all plan on doing it again!
No better way to enjoy the sun than with amazing friends… and plenty of SPF 70 of course!! We had bikinis in all colors- my blue and pink print, orange, white, striped and floral. And of course, to properly command the ship, a captain’s hat!
Dinner that night was at Capo’s. Floral was the theme of the evening!!
With my floral headband, floral Michael Kors cutout dress and Charlotte Olympia green leafy heels, I was channeling my inner woodland nymph. Floral rompers both short and long were a hit and gave an easy breezy beauty to these lovely ladies!!

This easy black and white sheath dress was stretchy and comfy and perfect for a plane ride and check out the wet suit.. next time I hope to have time to hit the waves!!! Also, I loved this silver lip hybrid from House of Beauty. So easy to apply and sooo moisturizing!!
