Happy Sunday!!!
I know it’s been a little while, and sorry this is a little late, but between having fun on Halloween and enjoying my wedding anniversary with my husband, I ran a little behind. But as they say, better late than never!!!
What did you do for Halloween? Being in Vegas, we have to do things all out! Since we have a 2 year old son, we chose an animated theme for our costumes and decided to go with the Lego Movie!! For those of you who haven’t seen it, it’s Awesome!! With our son being so small and since we don’t really live in an area that is conducive to Trick or Treating, we decided to check out the Springs Preserve for their Halloween festivities. Although our little guy was still a little young for a lot of the fun and games, it was a lot of fun to check out!!
Our son was the main character from Lego movie, Emmett. My husband was “good cop”, my mom was WildStyle and me and my awesome friend were both Princess Unikitty! These are the family friendly version of our Unikitty outfits. We got our tops and headpieces from a vendor on Etsy, Rich Mahogany Life. She was great to work with. She really listened to what we wanted in our costumes, they arrived on time and professionally wrapped and were gorgeous! I would definitely recommend ordering from her in the future!
For the adult only part of the evening, we changed to the adult version of our costumes…
We then went to Lago at Bellagio where we had a delicious dinner with a beautiful view of the fountains at Bellagio and then hit it up at the Foundation Room for some drinks and dancing!! It was a blast and we can’t wait until next year!!!
