For those of you who aren’t familiar with or haven’t been to container park, it is located on Fremont St, just a few blocks away from the Fremont Street experience. \u00a0It is comprised of literally all repurposed shipping containers for the different boutiques. \u00a0It has an amazing central open area with a huge playground and park areas for kiddos of all ages to play and lots of yummy restaurants as well.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The shops cover an array of options, from house decor and a blowout bar to clothing and accessories boutiques to a toy store. \u00a0Having a toddler in tow, I have to admit that we didn’t really venture into many of the decor stores because they tended to have more breakable wares and we just didn’t want to risk it. \u00a0I’m clumsy enough as it is! \u00a0 But we did find a few cool places for fun and unique finds!<\/p>\n

First was 702 dtlv, which had jewelry and some clothing from local artists. \u00a0I fell in love with this floppy hat, which I think would go perfectly with the fringe and the wider leg jeans that echo a 70s vibe, which are huge trends right now.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n The second place I went absolutely crazy for was \u00a0Leather Couture by Jessica Galindo. \u00a0She handmakes all her pieces and carries so many things, from purses, to scarves, rings, cuffs and earrings. \u00a0I could’ve spent all afternoon in there!! \u00a0I loved not only the bohemian vibe from a lot of the pieces but there was also a quiet beauty and femininity that was amazing, especially juxtaposed with such contrasting elements as a spike on a chain on the closure of the lavender purse below or the almost dagger shape of several earrings.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Also, gotta love the lace like look of these earrings- in fact- I had been here before and am wearing my white pair in the pics! And with the pieces being so affordable, they are perfect for anytime gifts for yourself, or anyone for that matter!! ;D<\/p>\n And that was my fashion weekend in a nutshell!
