Fashion Fantasy

Well, unfortunately Paris Fashion Week has come and gone and again I had no ticket to any shows.  So I did the next thing that I actually could do and headed to Chanel to see what was up for the season and what would be dancing in my head as I slept tonight! 😉

I loved these boots for springtime.  The color really pops and because the color is hand dyed on the material for each boot, not only are the individual boots unique, but each pair is as well.  I love pieces like this that are not only beautiful, but are truly a one of a kind and a piece of art

Another pair that really caught my eye was something completely out of my comfort zone and that was a pair of gold knee high gladiator sandals.  I’m usually a high heel kinda girl and actually have never owned, let alone tried on a pair of gladiator sandals, but something about the subtle shine of the gold color and intricacy of the beading around the buckles really resounded with me and made me have to try them on!

I think that these may have convinced me to consider actually getting a pair of gladiators!  Although I would need to wait for these to go on sale first!  Also, for those wondering, those modeling skills are all completely natural talent! 😛 Also, as a newbie to this kinda thing, the clips and pics should improve with time! I’m definitely a work in progress!

As for the clothes that really struck me, the one that grabbed me the most was this hand painted skirt! So cute and unique! I could see wearing this to so many places- work, a family get together, brunch…

While I’m daydreaming, I thought that this coat was amazing!  Of course, I was drawn by all the bright colors and 3/4 length sleeves and fringe really helped to make this boucle jacket modern.

Last but not least, no visit to Chanel would be complete without looking at the handbags.  Conceptually, I thought that this pearl clutch was very interesting… I had definitely never seen anything like it and it would definitely stand out!

And I am really loving these little crossbodies! So convenient for a night out and great at keeping clutter to a minimum!   And with so many options in colors and fabrics, the choices are wide!

And that was my fashion weekend in a nutshell!  What new trends have you seen for the upcoming season that you are excited about?  I would love to hear about it! Happy dreaming! 🙂

The Chanel items you displayed are so Gorgeous! What I find exciting is cool hosiery! I love how it can dramatically change a boring outfit into something dazzling. Hosiery can make you feel sophisticated, snazzy, and oh so sexy! Make a fantasy a reality with a pair of statement hosiery!!

I agree! Since we had a pretty mild winter in Vegas this year, I didn’t really get to break into patterned tights too much this year, but a fun, patterned pair of tights or leggings can really add a pop! 🙂
