Happy Sunday!!
So November 3rd was our 3rd wedding anniversary! Luckily, I have an amazing mom who came into town for the week to watch our son not only for Halloween, but also while my husband and I got some alone time in Napa. Although we were definitely missing our son, especially as the week went on, we definitely had a blast and got a relaxing reboot to finish the year!
We stayed at the Hyatt Andaz in Napa, and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed not only with the hotel and room, but also all the staff as well. They were some of the friendliest staff I have ever encountered in a hotel and I haven’t been able to stop raving about it since we got back. Our first night, we ate a quaint Italian restaurant called Oenotri, where the food was as delicious as it was beautiful- what a way to start the week! As our waiter said, the buccatini was like the adult version of Mac & Cheese- heaven!!!
We visited a total of 5 wineries while we were there, Opus One, Silver Oak, Schramsburg, Chandon and Nickel and Nickel. We had a blast at all of them and learned lots- I can’t wait to go back!!
Now don’t worry, I didn’t forget that this is first and foremost a fashion blog, and I was so happy to be able to pull out some cool weather clothes finally!!!
This long sleeve, denim dress from Alexa Chung AG was perfect for the cool weather and these wedge suede boots were perfect for walking along downtown streets and vineyards too!! My husband got me this gorgeous bag for our anniversary from Strathberry that was perfect for touting all my daily essentials and the long strap made it ideal for carrying it as a crossbody too!! Believe it or not, this crop top from Forever 21 was a steal at $7 on a flash sale! The material was really soft and it paired great with this Michael Kors leather skirt.
