Happy Sunday!!!
I hope everyone had a great weekend!!! On Friday, my husband and I checked out the Neon Museum in Las Vegas for an event called Cosmic Cocktails. It was our first time going there and we had a blast! Not only are the vintage signs really cool, but the food, which was brought by local restaurants in Downtown Las Vegas was sooo delicious and we can’t wait to eat at these restaurants!!
As you can see, the signs range from old casino signs, to vintage hotel and motel signs and even an old car dealership!! It was so much fun walking through the whole area and experiencing all the history!! I chose the dress I wore because I thought the colors would go with the neon theme without competing with the signs.
The food was catered by PublicUs, Itsy Bitsy Ramen & Whiskey, Rock ‘N’ Oodles and Divine Café. The pork potsticker from Itsy Bitsy Ramen was one of the best thing I have ever eaten! I can NOT wait to go back there!! It is located in the same building as the Ogden in Downtown Las Vegas.
On Saturday, of course there is college football! Having graduated from Texas A&M University, I am definitely a lover of all things maroon and white. Having that inspiration flowing, here is my attempt at a maroon eyebrow and white pearls as eyeliner. I have been seeing colored eyebrows a lot recently and wanted to give it a try.
For the eyebrow, I used Chanel’s eyeshadow “magic night” and over that, I used House of Beauty’s lip hybrid in Midnight. For extra sparkle, over that I used Wet n Wild’s red glitter. The pearls I got at Michael’s and adhered them to Limecrime’s silver eyeliner in Reason. I had a lot of fun with it and look forward to experimenting more in the future with more make up looks!
Most importantly, we got plenty of rest!! These 2 are always the best part of my weekend!!! What was the best part of your weekend? I can’t wait to hear about it!!!!
