Happy Sunday!!!
Finally back on track!! Phew- sorry again for the delays and thank you for your patience!!! Yesterday, Make a Wish of Southern Nevada granted an amazing little girl- Milene, who has Lupus, the wish of not only being a fashion designer, but also of sending her beautiful creations down the runway at Fashion Show Mall. The show was amazing and brought me to tears!!
Because Milene’s favorite colors are pink and purple, the show was called “Milene’s Pink and Purple Fashion Show”. She worked at the Stitch Factory in Downtown Las Vegas to create her designs, and let me tell you, I was thoroughly impressed!!! She did such an amazing job!!!
The event was emceed by Kim and Dana Wagner from Wake up with the Wagners on Channel 3 in Las Vegas and they did such a wonderful job- even their daughter came out and was wearing a pink wig!!
Can you believe that all these looks were designed and executed by a little girl?!?!? She did such an outstanding job!!
Even my son was amazed!!!
Do you have any experiences with children designers or the Make a Wish foundation? I’d love to hear about it!!!
I felt so lucky to be a part of her wish and I can’t wait to see what else she will create!!!
