Festival Fashion

Ok, ok, so I don’t exactly have going to SXSW, Coachella or Lollapalooza on my schedule this year, but that doesn’t mean I can’t love the boho festive vibe of music festival fashion!  If I could, I would totally wear flowers in my hair on a daily basis, but not sure how my patients would react to that!  😛

I got this dress at Hard tail in LA when I was pregnant because I was looking for clothes that could be used for both pregnancy and after.  You can’t appreciate this in the picture, but the material is SUPER soft and I love the tie-dye pattern.  I would LOVE for Hard Tail to open a store in Vegas! With the flower and low flung belt, this dress works perfectly for spring outdoor fun!

With Vegas being uncharacteristically hotter than usual, everyone is pulling out their shorts already! Rompers are always a fun alternative and the festive print really pops on the black background.  Another option is a crop top.  I’m still kinda new to this trend, but since top is a little shorter, I opted to keep the shorts a little longer and the neck line from being too low.  I like for my looks to be fun and I’m all about being sexy at times too, but I think its’s also important to keep a little for the imagination.  Otherwise, it can look like you’re trying too hard.

To me, a floppy hat is one of those classics that will never go out of style.  And with a tank, long necklace and tribal printed skirt, it’s ready for any outdoor concert, festival, or gathering.  Plus, it gives sun protection to boot!

And that’s my fashion weekend in a nutshell!  What festivals or concerts are you planning this year?  And what are you planning or yearning to wear?  I’d love to hear about it!!
